Last but not least, Lee-James Cupido, a cancer survivor, is the final winner of the competitive 10X Pitch-Off to be announced.
The 25-year-old beat cancer three times, but that is only a part of what makes his story so amazing. Here are the final details from the 10X Hub to round out this incredible story.
Lee-James Cupido loves his community
Cupido was not just an idle dreamer before he got involved in the 10X Hub. He was already a full-time high school teacher and coached his local rugby club before he founded LJC Productions as a side hustle.
Lee-James saw that local, small businesses had a real struggle finding their identity and gaining visibility in the marketplace. LJC Productions was founded out of the desire to help the community that has always supported him.
His company is full-service for small businesses. It provides branding, marketing, printing, and graphic design services for its clients.
From side hustle to thriving business
As he grew more passionate about this “side” project, Lee-James Cupido sought out Labit and the 10X Hub for resources. His business’ profits have grown 1866% from implementing the tools he learned there.
This is what he said about his experience:
The responsibility that rests on you as an owner. You have to take up that baton and really take ownership! With that, ou are able to overcome anything that life throws at you. — Lee-James Cupido
We love to see these young entrepreneurs so empowered.
We’d like to congratulate all the 10X Pitch-Off winners once again — Lee-James Cupido, Danielle Johannessen, Zane Samuels, and Tyron Kyle Adams. The competition was fierce and it was hard to choose.
We are excited for more 10X Hub events in the future and to keep you all updated.
