The Grant Cardone Foundation Hosts Its First-Ever 10X Career Day
This July, the Grant Cardone Foundation partnered with Breakthrough Miami to hold the first-ever 10X Career Day. We invited a group of Miami-Dade County Public School eighth-graders to 10X Headquarters. Our goal was to motivate and help them realize you can do anything you put your mind to.
We wanted to demonstrate what a thriving business looks like. The students got a special behind-the-scenes look at each of the departments of Cardone Enterprises where they interacted with employees to understand all the moving parts of an organization. Later, the students met several of our incredible executives who spoke about their roles and answered any questions the kids had.
Our goal at GCF is to provide financial literacy for at-risk youth, so we wanted to ensure the students could learn valuable life skills. In addition, we want them to put their dreams and goals into action. We guided the middle-schoolers to create their own 10X Business Plans, which they shared with one another for feedback.
Our founder, Grant Cardone, shared his personal story to inspire the students. He explained that when his father passed away when he was ten years old, which caused his mother to fear that she couldn’t support him and his siblings. He doesn’t want similar fears to keep young people from pursuing their dreams.
“A little trick in life that I will tell you is that whatever you focus on in your life, good or bad, you will get… to get the life you want, you have to stay focused on your goals,” Grant told the students.
After meeting the students in the Breakthrough Miami program, we cannot wait to see what they accomplish in the future. Thank you to everyone who helped make our first 10X Career Day a success.
